Art has been impactful on my life since I took my first art class in 1st grade at Regina Elementary in Iowa City, IA. It unlocked my passion, to create whatever I want to put out into the world, or, just for myself. I have worked with metal crafting to make jewelry pins for Coldwater Creek, played with pottery, watercolor, baking clay, wire work, acrylics, drawing with ink, charcoal, graphite and more recently digital art. That brings me to my latest passion - getting my art out there in fun items people can use daily. My print on demand website that I create my art for, is sustainable, fair labor practicing and eco conscientious. I really branched out with it this year, with business cards I hand out and being able to buy my own products to show first hand. Everything from shoes to skateboards, stickers to tees, blankets to travel mugs. I make sure to only create what I am passionate to make, with my heart and soul. Art creates reality! |
